In addition to the snack and fruit juice places around Dargah Bazaar and Delhi Gate, Ajmer has a handful of larger restaurants.

Bhola, in the hotel of the same name, Agra Gate, Subzi Mandi.
Excellent pure vegetarian food, including good-value thalis.
Open 8am-11pm.

Honey Dew, Station Road.
Vegetarian, non-veg and pizza at middling prices, next to the King Edward Memorial. Garden restaurant serving a good selection of Indian, Chinese and Continental food (including passable pizzas), as well as shakes and Kwality ice cream. Open 7am-11pm.

Jai Hind, Station Road, tucked in an alley directly opposite the station's main exit.
Opened in 1949 by Hindu refugees from Sind. Very good vegetarian food, including delicious alu-paratha-curd "breakfast thalis" and dosas .
Open 8.30am-10.30pm.


 

Mansingh Palace Hotel , Ana Sagar Circular Road. Pricey international cuisine served in a/c comfort by the lakeside.
Open 12.30-3pm & 7.30-11pm.
