Jaipur's frenzied flow of vehicles is at its heaviest during the morning and evening peak periods; it's best to avoid rush hours if you want to enjoy the sights and street activity.
The city itself,
particularly its modern part, is very spread out, and although it's pleasant to
walk around the Pink City, you may need some form of transport to get you there.
|
Many budget hotels rent bikes out to their guests; failing that, you can rent one for Rs25-30 a day from a place in the passage by 286 Kishan Pole Bazaar, about 100m north of the Ajmeri Gate, and from the Muslim cycle repair-shop just off Nirwan Marg, near the Jaipur In.
